How your AI agent qualifies leads

What qualifying questions are, how answers can lead to a follow-up question or a qualify or disqualify decision, how answers can be saved to contact attributes, and how to ask the Bigly team for changes.

Qualifying questions are the questions your AI agent asks on a call to decide whether a lead is a good fit, for example "Do you own your home?" or "What's your budget?". Each possible answer can lead to the next question or to a decision, such as qualifying or disqualifying the lead.

This tab is managed by the Bigly team. You won't see it in your AI menu. To add, remove or change a question, contact support.

How they work

  • Questions are asked in a set order.
  • For each question, the Bigly team lists the answers the agent should listen for.
  • Each answer either moves on to another question or ends the qualification with a decision.
  • An answer can be saved to a contact attribute, so you can see it on the contact afterwards and use it in lists and filters. See Custom attributes.

Asking for a change

When you contact support, include:

  1. The question, worded the way you'd like the agent to ask it.
  2. The answers that matter, and what should happen after each one: the next question, qualify, or disqualify.
  3. The contact attribute you want the answer saved to, if any.

After the change, place a test call to hear the new flow.

Common questions

Can I change the wording myself? Not on this tab. You can shape how the agent talks in your voice prompt and prompt variables, but the qualifying questions themselves are set by the Bigly team.

Where do I see a lead's answers? In the call's transcript and summary, and on the contact if the question saves to an attribute. See Bot activity.
