Calls
Build call lists from your contacts, start and schedule AI call campaigns, and track how each campaign and your API leads are performing.
Create a call list from tagged contacts, start an AI blast with an intro and concurrency, read the pre-start checks, pause and resume, set a daily schedule, and read the attempt results and the API Leads summary.
The Calls page is where you run outbound calling. Each row is a call list: a group of contacts you picked with tags and filters. From a call list you can start an AI blast, where your AI agent calls every contact on the list, or open the power dialer to call the contacts yourself.
The same page shows a summary of API Leads, the leads that arrive from your website, ad platforms or other systems and get called automatically.
The Calls page with the Call Lists heading, the New Call List button at the top right, the API Leads box with View Details, the search box and status filter, and a table of call lists with Contacts, Activity, Performance and Actions columns.
Before you start
- Import your contacts and tag them so you can pick the right audience.
- Buy at least one number on the Phone numbers page. The calls show this number as the caller ID.
- For AI blasts, set up at least one intro, your voice prompt and your working hours.
Create a call list
- Go to Calls in the top navigation.
- Click New Call List. The audience screen opens.
- Choose who to call. Use Select Tags (switch between AND and OR to decide whether contacts need all the tags or any of them), and narrow down by State, City, Title or Company.
- Check the contacts in the list. Tick the box at the top to select everyone who matches, or tick contacts one by one. Selected Contacts shows the total.
- Click Create Call List.
- If you have more than one phone number, pick the number to call from.
The new call list appears on the Calls page and opens on its own page.
If you don't pick any tag or filter, Bigly asks you to confirm before using every contact in your account. Very large audiences also ask for a second confirmation. If you submit the same list twice within a few minutes, the second request is refused so you don't call people twice.
Start an AI blast
- On the Calls page, find your call list and click the play button (Start AI Blast). You can also open the list and click Start AI Blast there.
- Choose the intro the agent should use, and the concurrency (how many calls run at the same time).
- Read the checks Bigly shows. Errors in red must be fixed before you can start, for example an intro that is missing its first sentence or inbound number. Warnings in yellow, such as missing working hours or contacts without ZIP codes, let you continue.
- Confirm to start. The Activity column changes to show the blast is running.
Calls only go out inside your working hours and the allowed calling hours for each contact's state. Outside those hours the blast waits and picks up again when the window opens. See Calling hours.

Pause, resume or cancel
Use the round buttons in the Actions column, or the buttons on the call list's own page:
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Start AI Blast | Starts calling the list. Running it again on a completed list starts a new attempt. |
| Pause AI Blast | Stops placing new calls. Calls already in progress finish. |
| Resume AI Blast | Continues a paused blast. |
| Cancel AI Blast | Stops the blast for good. |
| Schedule | Opens Configure daily blast schedule (see below). |
| Delete | Deletes the call list. This can't be undone. |
Every action asks you to confirm first.
Schedule daily calling
- Click Schedule (the calendar button) on a call list, or Configure Blast on its page.
- In Configure daily blast schedule, set the dates and the times the blast should run each day.
- Save.
You can also see and edit these schedules on the Scheduled blasts page.
Read the results
Click a call list's name to open it. The top shows Ready to Call, the number of Entries, the tags used to build the list and the creation date. Below, Call Blast Sequence lists each attempt with its intro and these numbers:
| Number | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Call Attempted | Calls placed in this attempt. |
| Total Answered / Answered by Human | Calls that connected, and those a person (not voicemail) answered. |
| Meeting booked | Calls where the agent booked an appointment. |
| SMS Send | Calls where the agent sent the lead a text. |
| Call Transferred | Calls transferred to your team. |
| Hit Buffer / Not Hit Buffer | Transfers that lasted long enough to count, and those that dropped early. See Call transfers. |
| Not Picked Up | Transfers your team didn't pick up, split by reason: User Hung Up, Agent Not Answered, SIP Error or Unclassified. |
| Concurrency | How many calls ran at once. |
Click View Contact Details to see each contact on the list and call them with the power dialer.

API leads
The API Leads box on the Calls page shows how many new leads arrived through your integrations. Click View Details to open API Lead Details, which breaks results down by call attempt (1st, 2nd and so on). Pick a date range of up to 60 days, use Filter by, and click Export CSV to download the numbers. Besides the call results above, this page shows Leads, Billable Min, Total Cost, Cost per Lead and Cost per Hit Buffer.
How these leads are called is set by your first-day follow-up. To send leads in, see Lead webhooks.
Troubleshooting
The blast is running but no calls are going out. You're probably outside your working hours or the contact's allowed hours. Check Calling hours. Calls can also be blocked by compliance checks; see Compliance overview.
I can't start the blast. Fix the red errors in the start window. Most come from an incomplete intro.
No contacts matched this audience, so nothing was sent. Your tags and filters don't match any contacts. Remove a filter or check your tags.
