Email prompt
Write and test the AI prompts that personalize every email in an AI email blast.
Picking a saved prompt, choosing B2C or B2B, loading a real contact, editing the Pre Prompt and Rules, generating a sample email in Results, saving the prompt, and choosing it in an email blast.
With an AI email blast, Bigly writes a personal subject and body for every contact instead of sending the same template to everyone. The Email Prompt tab is where you write the instructions the AI follows and test them on real contacts before you send anything.
Before you start
- Have at least one contact with useful details, such as name, company and title, so you can test against it.
- Set up your email signature. It's added to AI emails when they're sent.
Open a prompt
- Go to AI › Email Prompt.
- Click one of your saved prompts to open it.

Test a prompt on a contact
- Choose B2C (selling to consumers) or B2B (selling to businesses).
- In Search Contacts, start typing a contact's name and pick them. The Payload box fills in with that contact's details.
- Edit the Pre Prompt: the main instructions, such as who you are, what you offer, and the tone to use.
- Edit the Rules: the do's and don'ts, such as length limits or words to avoid.
- Click Submit. After a moment, a sample email appears under Results, with a Subject and Body. Nothing is sent to the contact.
- Adjust the Pre Prompt or Rules and click Submit again until you're happy.

Save the prompt
- Click Save Prompt.
- Type a Name.
- To keep the original and save your changes as a separate prompt, tick Save as a new template.
- Click Save.
Use the prompt in an email blast
When you create an email blast, choose the AI Email template. On the next step, Select Prompt shows your saved prompts. Click the one you want, then finish the blast as usual. See Scheduled blasts.
Settings explained
| Field | What it's for |

| B2C / B2B | The kind of audience. It changes the contact details loaded into the payload. |

| Payload | The contact's details the AI writes from. It's filled in when you pick a contact. You don't need to type it. |

| Results | The sample email the AI wrote for this contact. |
Common questions
It says "Please fill the payload". Pick a contact in Search Contacts first.
Does Submit send an email? No. It only shows you a preview.
How do I know the emails will read well? Each contact's email is written by the AI when the blast sends, so test your prompt on a few different contacts first.
